  Dr Patel is a rare breed of doctor. I would give him 10 stars if I could. A lot of Orthopedic surgeons are quick to diagnose, quick to send for physical therapy and then recommend surgery or steroids. But not Dr Patel. He takes his time and gets it right. Dr Patel is truly an "out-of-the-box" thinker... how many doctors will spend more than an hour on the first visit listening to your whole medical story and examining you top to bottom and backwards and forwards? His knowledge and attentiveness is worth every penny that he charges. I drive 2 hours to see him and I take my family members to him also. He diagnosed me so accurately because he was the only doctor who took the time to truly assess my body and how it was working (or not working!). I highly recommend Dr Patel, and his back office staff are amazing. Yes, getting in touch with someone on the phone can take a while but I promise you the phone tag is worth the wait in order to see Dr Patel. Thank you, Dr Patel and staff for your your great education and treatment !

  Approximately 6 years ago as of this writ, PRP was administered to the shoulder due to late-stage osteoarthritis. Initial diagnosis had determined that a shoulder replacement surgery was the only option. However, after conducting due diligence after discovery of PRP as a viable alternative, the latter was chosen. After procedure was completed, physical therapy sessions were augmented through the VA, coupled with the Regenisis low-pulse EMF therapy machine. The aggregate of these modalities were proven to be very effacacious to enhance and expedite recovery. As a result, the range of motion for the entire arm has dramatically improved with greater mobility sans any pain whatsoever. Dr. Shounuck Patel performed the overall procedure smoothly with little discomfort experienced, I want to offer my deepest encomiums to Dr. Shounuck Patel for his stellar professionalism and assuaging any concerns prior to having the procedure. Highly recommend The Patel Center for Functional Regeneration!

  I have Dr Patel to thank for my pain free knee's and shoulders. I went to Dr Patel about 7 years ago. I went for a weak shoulder because of an old injury and a right knee where I completely tore the ACL. By using PRP Dr. Patel strengthened all the area around the knee. I think I only did 2 visits. Maybe 3, and the left shoulder same time. I felt a lot better I was super happy. But now. 7 years later, it's really good. I was thinking about it the other day after a surf, my knee never even acts up, and my shoulder is fantastic, I can paddle for ours, It's balanced and strong. If I ever needed more work. I would head back to LA and see Dr. Patel. I don't mess about with my body.

  The procedure on my knee was a complete success. It completely fixed the issues My inside knee tendon was 90 percent torn which caused my knee to pop out. And I had broken cartilage which caused constant knee pain. The stem cell treatment completely fixed my problem and 15 years later I am pain free and my knee has never popped out again.
